Growing up in Ireland in the 90’s sweet and sour sauce was about as exotic as it could possibly get when we ordered from the Chinese Take Away. Even still to this day is the most popular sauce option and that’s because it’s such a perfect combination of sweet sticky deliciousness and vinegar sourness that cuts through so well. It’s also very easy to make, but nearly impossible to make healthy, that’s why what you put t on is very important.
